Ghosts

violent deaths, unfulfiled promises or a fear of death are all said to trigger the creation of ghosts - many of these lost souls live in relative harmony with the living save for the odd scare or two but some are malignant either due to anger and/or fear at their new existence or due to them already being wicked to begin with. Also, contrary to popular belief, not all ghosts are the souls of deceased mortals - some are simply psychic entities that take ghostly forms for unknown reasons.
